Good Habits
" Good habits help improve our physical, emotional, and/or financial health.
Select one of your good haits and write an essay to make that habit a part of

A good habit that I have is reading books when I am bored instead of watching
television. I have read many books this month like, Hidden Talents, True
Talents, Buried Talents, I Am Legend, Night, House of the Scorpion, and Zombie
Butts from Uranus. The most interesting book that I read this month is called
Metamorphosis, which is about a man who transformed into a beetle and can no
longer support his needy family. The key to understanding this book is knowing
why the main character, Gregor, feels guilty.
In the book, Metamorphosis, Gregor feels guilty because he can no longer
financially support his family due to his metamorphosis into a giant, beetle-like
insect. Before Gregor's metamorphosis, he was a salesman who used almost all
of his money to support his mother, father, sister, and himself, who all lived in the
same house. Gregor is accustomed to providing his family with the money he
earns as a salesman and his family has a nice life because of it. Everyone
depends on him to make money because they are either too old, too young, or
too sick to work. Gregor feels that since he can't work anymore, he and his
family would have to move out of their home and it would be all his fault.
One of the events that caused Gregor's guilt was when his office manager
came by their house to see why Gregor wasn't at work and his family had to
dissuade the manager from firing Gregor. He felt guilty because he could be at
work and his family wouldn't have to go through so much trouble if he hadn't
transformed into an insect. Gregor also felt guilty when he prevented his sister
and mother from removing his picture frame that was on the wall of his room by
sticking his stomache to the glass of the frame. By doing that, he caused his
mother to faint from his appearance. Gregor bcame even more guilty because
he caused his family alot of stress.

Reading interesting books like this one will greatly improve your emotional
health. It wll do so by relieving stress so that you will not worry about all of your
problems. It will also improve your financial health because you can just read
books and educate yourself rather than watching horrible television shows like
Jersey Shore, which will save you lots of money on electricity bills, and maybe
even cable bills. Reading these kinds of books can encourage you to go outside
and excersize if you read an inspirational book about weight loss or something of
that nature. Reading books in my spare time is a big part of my life and it should

Too much TV
Many poeple believe that television violence has a negative effect on society
because it promotes violence. I agree with this because after watching a violent
movie, I react in one of four different ways depending on the movie I watched. If
I watch a kung-fu movie, I start doing marial arts. When I watch a shooting
movie, I try to shoot like the peoplein the movie. Whenever I watch an action
movie , I re-act the movie. If I watch a spy movie, I act like a spy. I know alot of
other people that do this as well and it could have a negative impact on society.
I was watching Fist of Legend with my cousin. When the movie ended, we
were fighting each other while using martial arts, pretending that we knew what
we were doing. We were kicking things, Karate chopping things, punching
things, and elbowing things. We started doing this to each other and we ended
up fighting for real because we kept hitting each other harder and harder. When
we finall calmed down we noticed that we had broken the glass table and the
vase that was on it. Because of the violent movie we watched we broke some of
the things in the house.
When I was at my friend's house we watched a movie called Wanted. My
friend's little brother went into hiis room and shortly after he came back weilding
a plastic Nerf gun. He kept trying to curve the bullet like the actors did in the
movie. On his fifth attempt at curving the fake bullet the plastic Nerf gun slipped
out of his hand and went crashing into the window, cracking it. The little boy got
a spanking and he never tried curving the bullet again.
One day my brother and I were watching a movie called The Expendables.
Near the end of the movie, we had seen so much action that we started
mimicking the movie scenes. We made so much noise that the next door
neighbor made a complaint about how loud we were. When our parents found
out we had to do an extra month worth of chores in a week and we were
grounded. The Expendables was the best movie I ever saw but it cost me alot.
I remember when I was a little kid and I watched The Bourne Identity for the
first time. I wewnt around acting like a spy because at the time I felt it was cool.
I lurked around corners, hid things from people, eavesdrop on peoples'
conversations and made some toy guns. I even started atealing things from
people. I never got in trouble because I make an excellent spy but looking back
I'm glad that I didn't develop a habit.

should watch this movie because it contains all of the aspects of the greatest
movie ever. The director is considered to be one of the best directors of all time.
The CGI graphics look amazingly realistic. The actors are very talented even
though some are not well known. The most important thing about this movie is
the storyline, which is the best i have ever seen. All of these things combined
gives you the best movie of all time, which is James Cameron's Avatar.
James Cameron is the director of the movie Avatar. He is considered to be in
the same league of directing as Steven Spielberg, who is the most famous movie
director of all time. James Cameron's previous movie, Titanic, has made the
most money a movie has ever made because of inflation. Avatar has made
more money than any movie other than Titanic, this gives Cameron alot of
crediblity as a director and has been the most successful director.
CGI graphics are very important to most movies that involve action or
adventerous scenes, and Avatar is full of them. Avatar has better CGI graphics
than any movie I have ever seen. These graphics are only 2D, but they are so
good that they look 3D. This movie's CGI graphics make plants and animals
come to life. Everything in this movie is very colorful and vivid, it is breath-
takingly realistic.
The main actors in this movie are Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana. Sam
Worthington has been in movies like Terminator Salvation, and Clash of the
Titans. Zoe Saldana's latest movies are Takers and Losers. Although Zoe
Saldana is a pretty well known actress, Sam Worthington is not a well known
actor. In each of his movies, he tries to erase his former self and literally
become the character he is potraying, much like the late Heath Ledger who was
known for doing the same thing.
Some movies have good actors, a good director, good graphics, and a high
budget, but sometimes the storyline is so hoorrible that it makes everything else
about the movie look bad to the point where you want to discontinue watching it.
This movie's storyline is the best I have ever seen. It is a kind of forbbiden love
story with action thrown in. James Cameron's Avatar, was critiqued as one of
the greatest storyline ever.
James Cameron's Avatar is, in my opinion, the greatest movie of all time. It has
a great director, the actors are great, the graphics are the best I have ever seen,
and the storyline is impeccable. Overall, everyone would love this movie and this
is why you should watch it.
One vs six
ONE IS GREATER THAN SIX
I think that smaller families are better than larger ones. I feel this way because people with smaller families have more order in the household than larger ones.
Parents of smaller families can focus better on an individual child rather than
multiple ones. Children with half a dozen or more siblings are more likely to
misbehave at school. Smaller families also save more money on buying things

down and help them learn the concept in a peacefu, learning environment. If a
child with multiple siblings needs help, the parent is less likely to provide a
peaceful learning environment because of the chaos the other children are
creating. If they are able to create a stable environment the parents might still
be worrying about the safety and whereabouts of the other children while they
are helping one of the kids. Parents with only one child do not have that worry.

neglect they recieve by their parents at home. They are neglected because the
parents can not focus individually on one child. When a child starts acting out at
school, they continue that habit throughout their lives, which could get them into

fast. He had with him a silver suitcase and an electronic
device that looked like a cell phone. It allowed him to project
images from his phone into the air so that He wouldnt have to
constantly look at his phone to check something. The device
was silver and black on the outside and was able to slide up
and down. He left his phone on the counter when the bartender
walked over to fill up his cup. I noticed he left his phone and
decided to bring it to him. I followed him outside and tryed
to hand him the phone. He said Nortyuu sai gotyy Hai!. The
phone sent a projection of what he said and it translated it in english.

Superpower
If I had to choose between super strength, invisibility, or the ability to fly, I would choose the latter. I would not want to have super strength because I might accidentally crush things that are important to me. Having invisibility is pointless because only you dissappear and your clothes don't, so people would still see me. Having the ability to fly does not have any negatives and that is why I would pick it out of the three.
Extended Family Member
If I could spend an afternoon with an exrtended family member it would be my little brother Trevion. I have not seen him in a while so I would like to spend some time with him. We would do what he wanted to do which would probably be playing UFC Undisputed 2009. He would pick Forrest Griffin and I would pick Lyoto Machida, and we would fight each other.

Living outdoor at a ranch is alot different than living in the city. You have to cater to your animals. You also have to feed yourself by hunting in forrests. Almost no one that lives in the city has experienced living outdoors in a farm.
I have pigs, horses, and chickens as my animals, and each one requires alot of energy to try and keep up with them. Every animal that I have eats alot of food. Chickens eat feed, horses eat grass and hay, and pigs eat anything, that is why they are called swine because they often eat their own excriment. Whenever I am running low on supplies like food, I go into the forrest to hunt more animals and get more food for my animals. It is a very exhausting job but it is very fun nevertheless.

A cause of teenage smoking could be peer pressure. If a teen is surrounded by other teens that are smoking, the teens that are smoking might try and persuade the one that is not smoking because they do not want him to be left out. A teen might also start smoking because he thinks it looks cool. Some teens are under stress and they might think that the only way to relieve it is by smoking.
Some problems that might occur from smoking is lung cancer. They could also get addicted to it because they get used to smoking and it becomes a natural part of their life. The nicoteen in the cigarretts that they smoke could also be a cause for addiction.

My ideal vacation would be located in Hawaii. I would stay at a five star hotel and I would be able to relax. Some days I would go out to the coast and swim with the sharks that are attacking the fish. I could learn more about the waters of Hawaii and I could have fun while drinking a coconut drink.

A person can recieve fame and fortune by playing the lottery and winning over 1 milliion dollars. A public health concern that is serious enough to take immediate action is childhood obesity. The communities with the highest childhood obesity percentage should be regulated to build more parks and recreation centers for children and teenagers. In this center there should be a basketball court, a swimming pool, and a workout room. If this happens in every community with high percentages of childhood obesity will greatly decrease.
Change of plan
A change of plan can become necessary in times of war. If you are planning to sneak up on the enemy during the night and they somehow figure out that you are coming, they can ambush you. That is when you need to change your plans because if you do not and become stubborn your team members' lives will be highly endangered.

Cooperation to me means working together to achieve a common goal. To have cooperation, you and your cooperator need to be on the same page so that you do not get confused about who does what. Neither of you can be selfish when you are working together, because if you are it will be alot harder to get things done than if you are not selfish.

A method in which a teacher could do to be more effective is teaching the material they are supposed to be teaching. If a teacher just sits around all day on his computer and gives his students a load of work o do, the student are more likely to not do it because of the seemingly impossible task given to them. Conviences can change people's lives because if a person gets fired from their job and the next day the building where they got fired from got blown up in a terrorist attack during the time you would have been working inside, yo would say that that is a convience because if you were not fired then you would be dead. I am unique because people tell me that I am unpredictable. I am different than anyone else that you will meet. I am goofy, funny, smart, and talented in sports. I have great hand-eye coordination and I am good at just about everything I do, when I want to be anyways.

If an alien came to the planet Earth and wanted to know about pollution from me I would question his intentions. But i would nevertheless tell him what pollution is. I would explain air pollution, which is the pollution of air through different machine made harmful toxins that are released in the air. I would explain what water pollution is, which is when toxins get into a water supply like rivers and oceans and seas. After I explained the pollution of this world the alien would then consume all of the pollution in the world and leave after doing so. The world would be a better place because their would be no pollution of any kind and people would be able to breath under water and people would never get sick.
No Computers
WIthout computers people would spend more time outside with their friends rather than inside on Facebook. The general amount of people that are obese would go down because to have fun people would not go on AIM or Twitter they would go outside and play a sport like basketball or football. Without computers people would have to get information through television or through the radio. People would not have cell phones that can access the internet and the overall technological advancement would slow down.

A person can make a new friend by talking and being nice to her. You would need to take an interest in what they like and eventually they will take interest in what you like. If you do that then you will have made a new friend.
Favorite Game
My favorite game at the moment is Kingdon Hearts 2. It is my favorite game because it has all of the things I look for in a game. Action, a great story, cool graphics, cool characters will cool moves, and it has to be easy to execute these moves. I like playing this game because it has characters from other games in it as well as their own original ones.

A person can impulse buy if they are walking next to a restaurant and they see people come out eating what looks to be delicious food. The person that was walking by the restaurant becomes hungry and now they want what they saw in front of them. The person goes into the store and buys the food on a whim. An effect of impulse buying is that you can run out out of money and you cabn also gain weight if you do what I described above.

There are multiple ways a person my age can earn money. They could get a job at Wal-Mart, McDonalds,

from the men. It would probably be a challenge in which the contestants would have to consume a repulsive
beverage. I do not have a weak stomach so I am pretty confident that I would not be eliminated. Whoever
drinks the beverage the slowest or whoever doesn't finish it would be eliminated. Which would leave 3
people remaining for the final challenge.
The final round usually is held hundreds of feet in the air. We would probably have get five flags without
falling off of a support beam while being timed. The first contestant would only capture 4 flags before falling

Are smaller families better than larger ones? (500 word essay)
Some people think that a family with 6 children is better than a family with one child. What do you think?
ONE IS GREATER THAN SIX
I think that smaller families are better than larger ones. I feel this way because
people with smaller families have more order in the household than larger ones.
Parents of smaller families can focus better on an individual child rather than
multiple ones. Children with half a dozen or more siblings are more likely to
misbehave at school. Smaller families also save more money on buying things
for their kid than larger families. Smaller familes have more advantages than
larger ones therefor, they are better.
Most families with half a dozen or more children have chaotic homes. The
children are always being loud, running around everywhere, or crying. Children
are very hard to keep up with and the more you have, the harder it is keeping up
with them. Families with only one child have an easier time managing their child
because they only make a fraction of the noise made by multiple children, and
because of this, the parents have less stress.
Parents with only one child can focus on thier kid better than parents of multiple
children. If the child of a small family is struggling at school, the parents can sit
down and help them learn the concept in a peacefu, learning environment. If a
child with multiple siblings needs help, the parent is less likely to provide a
peaceful learning environment because of the chaos the other children are
creating. If they are able to create a stable environment the parents might still
be worrying about the safety and whereabouts of the other children while they
are helping one of the kids. Parents with only one child do not have that worry.

neglect they recieve by their parents at home. They are neglected because the

If I were a quarterback I'd be the best.
When I'm on the field the opponent scores less.
I say HIKE! And they all start running.
I juke the defender, the crowd says I'm stunning.
I throw the ball far, and it perfectly spins around.
The reciever catches it, and scores a touchdown.
I do this ten more times and the crowd goes insane.
I jump in celebration, as we win the game.

The Youngest Person I Know
The youngest person I know is my baby cousin Kendall. He is 2 years old and is the son of my aunty Trisha. He likes to fight with people even when they aren't doing anything to him. Kendall is a very spoiled little kid. He has his own room while his older brother Kaelen, who is 11, has to sleep on the couch. He has a 45" flat screen plasma television on his tv stand with baby blue paint on his walls. He is always smiling except for when he's crying. Although spoiled, Kendall is my favorite baby cousin.
Oldest Person I Know
The oldest person I know is my great grandmother on my mothers' side. Her name is Haidiand she is 89 years old. She is Belizean and she is 5'2". She likes to cook food for everyone when people come to her house. Her specialties are both desserts, milk cake and fruit tarts. Both of these desserts are sweet just like her.
Wonderful Painter
If I was a marvelous painter, I would paint the solar system on my walls. First, I would paint the background a dark blue color. Green dots would be seen everywhere on the wall and they would represent the stars in the distance. On my center wall, I would paint the sun orange and yellow. It would be near the bottom of the wall to show that that's where the sun is at night, at the other side of the planet. The moon would be near the top of the wall and it would be white with grey crators in it. On my right wall, Mercury, Venus, and Mars would be painted in green, grey, and red colors. Near the middle of my right wall Jupiter and Saturn would be painted in brown and yellow colors. On my left wall Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto would be painted blue, brown, and white. On my cieling the Milky Way Galaxy spiral would be painted with a black hole in the center. The paint that I used is able to glow in the dark.

Everyone thought that he could fly because no one saw him get to the ceiling, which is 1,000 meters high. His friends wanted to see him fly because he was rumored to have been the fastest bat alive so they put bat oil on the ceiling around him when he was sleeping so that he would fall and would have to fly. When Bat woke up he started walking around and slipped off of the 1000 meter high ceiling. As he was plummiting down to the ground his friends waited in anticipation. Later that day he was known as The Bat Who Couldn't Fly.
Lunch
If I could have lunch with a famous person it would be BJ Penn. Penn is a famous Brazilian Jui Jitsu fighter for the UFC. He is one of my favorite fighters and I would ask him questions about new BJJ submissions and how he prepares before each fight. I would ask him how he made it to the UFC because I want to be a fighter as well.
Siblings
I have two brothers named Jermaine and Trevion. Jermain is 20 years old and he has a hot temper. He likes to play sports like basketball and football and is very intelligent. Although he doesn't always do the right thing, he has a good heart and is a great big brother. Trevion is my little brother and is 4 years old. He is very hyper and loves to play sports and video games. The only thing he eats is peanut-butter fingers. Peanut-butter fingers is a modified peanut-butter and jelly sandwich but the ends are cut off, and it is cut in thirds so that it looks like chicken fingers. Both of my brothers are fun and both of my brothers are very nice.

Phoenix
If I could have any animal for a pet, it would be a phoenix. It would be 50 ft long and 100 ft wide if it spreads his wings. It would have a yellow beak, with blue and red feathers made of a fire that never goes out. It wouldn't eat anything and it lives in the sky. If I call out its name it comes and finds me no matter where I am in the world. When it dies it is reborn again in its ashes.
My Journey as a Pirate
The name of my ship is called Highwind. I sail to different worlds looking for the ultimate treasure, the Keyblade. The Keyblade has the ablity to unlock and treasure chest, lock any treasure so that no one can steal it, and show the location of any treasure. I stumbled across a map of XIII when I was at Soul's End Island, it shows the location of the almightly Keyblade. As I arrive at XIII I anchor the Highwind so that it does not drift away. I take out my map and begin my search for the Keyblade. I see a giant treasure chest with a sign on it, "DO NOT OPEN!!!", I decide to try and open it but I can't. I figure only the keyblade can open it so I continue my search for the mystical prize. I find the Keyblade and take it back to the giant treasure chest. I point the keyblade at the treasure and a beam of light shoots out of the blad and into the lock of the chest, I hear an unlocking noise, then the chest opens. I am teleported inside the chest which seems to be as big as a planet while inside. I see other people who tell me that if you open the chest you, are doomed to spend an eternity in here. They also say that only the Keyblade can unlock the chest, but once you do it takes you here and if you let it go you will be lost in here forever. I tell them that I did let it go and they begin to go away. They then see a beam of light shoot into the sky and realize that I must've lied to them, they try to find me but I am already gone. As I stand by the giant treasure chest with my Keyblade, I realize that those people must have been seekers of the Keyblade like me. I go back to the Highwind and the Keyblade reveals to me the location of the fabled Hidden Crest. I stand in shock, I thought it was just a myth, I sail South in search for the Hidden Crest.

Deepest Fear
My deepest fear is that one day I won't wake up. I love living more than I nlove most things. When I'm awake I'm happy. When the day comes when I don't wake up I hope I'm in heaven.
My Restaurant
If I opened my own restaurant it would be called A Restaurant. It would be beige on the outside with a red roof. The inside would have dark oak tables with beige chairs and booths. My friends and I would work there. I'd be the head chef in the kitchen while my friends are waitors. We would serve everything from chips to panines. Our specialty would be ratatouille.

Dinosaur
If I woke up and saw a dinosaur in my backyard I would catch it. I would put it in a cage and tame it, it would learn to fly me to where I want to go so I dont have to catch the bus tro go places. I would see the clouds around me as I soar through the air while looking down onto the Earth. And I'll be the only person that has a dinosaur.

The Meal
If I could cook any meal for my family it would be chili cheese dogs. I would make chili cheese dogs because everyone likes them and you really can't complan about them. First, I would fill a pot up with water and place it on the stove. Then, I would put the hotdogs in it until the water starts boiling for five minutes. After that I'd pour the water out and put the chili in the pot and let it heat up for about five minutes. Then I'd put the hot dogs on a bun, pour chili on it, put shredded cheese on it, and serve to my family.

When I Was Brave
One time when I was brave was when I was getting on my first rollercoaster at age 9. I was at Knott's Berry Farm with my family and everyone was getting on rollercoasters except for me. I just kept playing the games where you win prizes because they were easy. When we were walking toward the line for the Dragon Ship ride, my brother convinced me to get on it. When it was my turn to get on the ride, I was really nervous, but I still got in the seat and locked the bar in. Two minutes later I walked off the ride feeling brave.

Hundred Dollars
If I had a hundred dollars but I couln't keep it, I would give it to my brother. He's about to have a baby boy and I would give him the hundred dollars so he can have some extra money to spend it on things for his unborn son.

The House We Lived In
The house we lived in was average. It was a light brown color on the outside and on the inside the walls were white. The carpet was light brown and the furniture was white with red trimmings. It had eight windows, a bathroom, a kitchen, a dining room, three closets, and a living room. My dad's room was down the hall on the left. It had a queen sized bed next to the wall. Under his flat screen tv was his dresser, and next to his dresser was his computer. In my room my dresser was also under my tv, across from that was my bed. My desk and computer was under my bed. My desk was always messy, it had my school supplies, my laptop, and my books on it. Just outside my window were trees and bushes that brushed up against our average house.

I Wake Up
When I awoke I heard the sound of my phone buzzing by my ear. I reach for the phone, my eyes still closed, and turn off the alarm clock. I open my eyes and climb down the ladder that connects my bed to the floor and walk to the bathroom. I brush my teeth while trying to stay awake. I finish brushing my teeth and I walk to my room and put my clothes on. I apply baby oil to my arms and legs and brush my hair. I grab my backpack and walk out the door.

In This Dream
In this dream I was a worker for a radioactive goo company. I was walking in the radioactive goo room and I saw a fellow worker named John. He was dumping the goo into a pot when he slipped and fell into the giant pot of green goo and the goo got on me from the splash. I went to go get the hazmat team for help and when the hazmat team emptied the pot, John was gone. There were only green glowing footprints that led and stoppped at the exit. I woke up the next day and had ice breath, super speed, super strength, heat vision, and I could fly. I flew outside and there John was about to attack me. I ran behind him and froze him with my ice breath, then I threw him into outerspace and became a hero.
